Love Dr Robertson. He listens to you and he takes his time explaining anything you need to know. Wish more doctors were like him.

On 02/05/2020 Dr. Robertson performed a double cardiac artery bypass graft (CABG) on me - a 72 year old man. Before and after the procedure, he repeatedly assured me that I would be able to return to my normal way of life within three months. He was accurate in that prediction, and I have experienced no heart problems or any other significant health issues over the subsequent 17 months. I play tennis twice a week, I work 2-3 nights per week, and I continue with all the other activities that were part of my pre-surgery life. I am so grateful for Dr. Robertson's calm assurance and caring attitude, and for the excellent work he did.

Unfortunately Dr. Robertson misdiagnosed my father and told him he DID NOT have Mesothelioma while in fact he does Mesothelioma which was confirmed by UTSW in Dallas. Dr. Robertson told my father "I have never seen anything like this" and while Mesothelioma is a rare cancer surely he has a medical textbook or google to reference. This was precious time wasted thinking my father had a benign tumor that could have been spent with the oncology team. I would highly recommend getting a second opinion if you see this doctor. Also his bedside manner is lacking as the last thing he said to my parents as they were leaving was "Don't take this the wrong way but I hope I never see anything like you again" referencing his inability to remedy my dad's tumor removal (that he thought was benign).
