I had the opportunity and pleasure of meeting Dr. Reis after my dad (84 years old!) experienced chest pain and was recommended for bypass surgery following a cath which showed blockages in 4 of his heart arteries. Initially, I was reluctant and concerned about heart surgery on an octogenarian but Dr. Reis took the time to review his imaging and explained why surgery versus angioplasty was a better option for my dad despite his age. His bedside manner was wonderful and he was fully engaged with my dad and our family throughout dad's hospitalization which was extended due to kidney problems. Today my dad is walking around and as active ever, enjoying life to the fullest. We are so thankful to Dr. Reis and all the staff at Hendricks for treating my dad like as they would their own family member.
