About Dr. Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Shelbyville
We're in this with you, to help you get the care you need, safely.
Vanderbilt Health has restarted surgeries, procedures and clinic visits that were paused or delayed. Safety is our top priority, with measures that follow - and in some cases exceed - local, state and CDC public health recommendations.
Everyone wears a mask - patients, visitors, doctors, nurses and staff. We're sanitizing rooms between each patient, and cleaning public spaces frequently throughout the day. We're checking everyone for fever and symptoms before they enter our facilities.
We've spaced chairs in waiting areas, limited the number who can ride elevators at once and made other changes so we can keep a safe (6 feet) physical distance.

One of the worst hospitals I have been in in my life. Staff is rude, disrespectful, and belittling, not to mention just gross. They have no concept of the spread of disease they touch their hair and mouth with gloved hands then come and touch you and do an IV. When they go to wipe you with alcohol their huge nails scratch your skin. Every surface is visibly dirty and dusty and only god knows what is growing on it. If you value your health and safety don't go there because they sure don't care about that. Be prepared to leave this hospital worse than how you came in because that's what happened to me. Complete and utter negligence.

I would like to say this hospital and it's entire staff truly are the best of the best and with out them I don't think I would be able to write this review. From the ER staff that took me in and got me stable to the ICU nurses that took the best care of me . I cant express how grateful I am to yal . I know that God played a big part of my recovery but without the staff this hospital has put together I don't think I would be here today I truly owe my life to all of yal . I love and appreciate all of yal . You guys will always be family to me . Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart Thank yal so much for saving me I could never repay my debt to yal . Yal are the best of the best

My wife and I visited Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular with an appointment for a follow up with Dr. Okusanya. This was the first time here and we were promptly processed by the office staff. Dr. Okusanya was great. She was kind, polight and thorough. She explained our analysis and setup a more thorough exam for our circumstances.

The staff at this office were absolutely incredible. Everyone, from the front desk to checkout and everyone else in between! Nurses, lab techs, and Dr Fong went above and beyond. Friendly, efficient, and caring. 5 stars.

Dr. Fong is a brilliant cardiologist and communicates well with his patients and families. The staff is so caring and responds promptly to inquiries. I just can't express enough gratitude for the excellent care Dr. Fong and staff have provided to my family members.
