Went to see a gastroenterologist and had a horrible experience. Appt was extremely short. Doctor told me that pooping once a week was normal. Didn't hardly ask me any questions about symptoms or family health history and didn't even do an exam. Just requested I do blood work and take miralax. Even told me probiotics don't work for digestive health?? Didn't even go get blood work taken bc I had no plans of ever returning here. What irritated me most is I got off at 6 am that morning so I wasted my time driving all the way over here for nothing when I could've stayed sleep. Just went to a new doctor who actually seemed to care to help me.

The entire visit went very good. I arrived on time and didn't wait at all. The staff at the front desk was friendly & very efficient. The nurse was attentive and helpful answering all my questions..Dr.Ohare really listened to my concerns. He helped me by scheduling some procedures, and refilling my prescriptions. I have before and will keep on recommending Dr.Ohare and Ascension St.Thomas.

Dr. Spetko is the ultimate professional. He has always provided exceptional medical care. He has certainly been a patient advocate. I, for one greatly appreciate his willingness to go above and beyond. I am dismayed that he is being let go in November. This is a tremendous loss for patients of St. Thomas Mt. Juliet. I am not the only one who shares this opinion. I am really disgusted with the executive who made this decision.

DON'T COUNT ON YOUR APPOINTMENTS BEING WHEN YOU SCHEDULE THEM FOR.
Would be 5 stars but the scheduling department doesn't know how to do their jobs.
This is now the 3rd time my appointments have been changed from what I originally scheduled without anyone calling to inform me of the changes or inquire if I was okay with it changing.
At first I thought maybe it was the Dr would be out however when I called to inquire why my appointment was changed the scheduling staff claims it was never scheduled for the original time despite me having the printout they gave me to prove that it was scheduled and then they changed it.
