Saint Francis Cardiology Associates - Memphis

When Dr. Swarup was here, I was very happy. Since her departure, I was assigned to Dr. Okolo and I was floored at the ineptness of his staff and frankly, disappointed in him as a business man. He might be a great doctor. I really don't know. I've only seen him one time. My issue with his staff is that every time I needed anything, I would have to call 3 or more times to get my issue resolved. IE: When I needed meds, the first time, I had to call 3 times before I got someone to handle it. AND that happened 2 more times. One time, I was out of meds for a week before I got help. The other times, it was several days. So, if it's not important for me to have them, then don't prescribe them. If it is important, then CALL ME BACK so I can GET MY MEDS! Why is he a bad businessman? I had been going to this group for about a year. During my last visit with Dr. Swarup in October of 24, she did her things then scheduled my next visit for 6 months later. About 8 weeks later, I called to get my meds and was told I couldn't get them unless I made an appointment to see Dr. Okolo. So, I made the appointment, against my will but I need the meds. When I see the doctor, he asks why I was there and so I explained to him that his nurses would not give me my meds unless I saw him. Why? I was just there 8 weeks ago. So he tells me that the nurse wanted to make sure I should have the medicine. WAIT, I said. Are you saying that Dr.Swarup doesn't know what she's doing? To which he responded, "I'm sure Suprea (Dr.Swarup's first name) knows what she is doing." So then, me coming here was for no good reason. He back peddled and I didn't blame him. I wouldn't expect him to admit that his staff doesn't know what they are doing. BUT, other than that, he put the stethoscope on me and that was it. I was out in 6 minutes. BUT WAIT!!! After that BS, they send me a bill for an additional $40 over and above my copay. FOR WHAT? THAT IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. A. 3 or more calls (over 3 or 4 days)to get assistance B. Hold me hostage to get my meds. C. Make an appointment I didn't need with a $45 copay that isn't easy for to pay. D. Bill me an additional $40 just to talk to the doctor for 6 minutes. That's more than enough for me. I'd give zero stars if it we're possible. They have a new office manager now. I wish her luck. She's going to need it.

Staff is the rudest people I've ever dealt with and the most incompetent if you try to discuss any billing or insurance matters with them. Dr Okolo is great but his staff will keep me from ever returning. They should not be allowed to deal with the public because they are awful.

I had an AMAZING experience here, my 2nd visit on 11/03/21. Dr. Bomb and his team were kind, awesome, and professional. All of my tests for the day went smoothly & quickly. From the workers at the front desk, to the Nurses in the back---EVERYONE was great. Thank you all for taking care of me. --- L. Haynes

My Cardiology appointment was AWESOME, on 12/05/2023. From the time that I walked thru the front door until we finished, everyone was sooooo... friendly. Dr. Das and his team were great. I can not say enough how nice and friendly everyone was to me.

HORRIBLE STAFF!! I left the ER at St Francis Sunday with a diagnosis of pericarditis, I was told to follow up with Dr. Bomb the next day because I needed an ECHO and he didn't want to come to the hospital on a Sunday to do it. I call the office on Monday, spoke with someone and they said they would call me back. I never heard from them. Call AGAIN Tuesday, they try and give me an appointment for next week, I explained I can't wait that long I'm in pain, then they proceed to tell me to come the next day at 9. I get there and NO APPOINTMENT!! They basically just told me something to get me off the phone. The staff is very unprofessional and rude and obviously have no management skills. I am a Registered Nurse and have never seen such poor management and lack of professionalism in my life. I would not put my health or my life in the care of these people.
