Dr. Craig performed two carotid artery surgeries on me. He is a caring, professional. My cardiologist thinks he is the best. Even though there are surgeons in my cardiologist's group, he recommended one outside of his group. Great bedside manner. I know a lot of people who know Dr. Craig and work with him at Baptist hospital and they ALL believe he is the ultimate, professional and skillful surgeon. Great bedside manner and ALL questions are answered. I had an issue with the first surgery concerning the catheter (not Dr. Craig's responsibility or fault). Dr. Craig and the wonderful anesthesiologist fixed it so I would not have the same issue on the second surgery! I don't understand the person that gave him one star with no justification.

Incredible surgeon. Such focus and brilliance is rare these days. John took the time to completely explain everything to me. The Team he has put together completely reflects this man's ethic and dedication. Initially scheduled for 3 CABG and 1 Aortic valve replacement, plus 1 LAA (Left Atrial Appendage) removal, however, during the surgery some ablations were required and a hole was observed between left and right sides and immediately repaired. Patrick, one of Dr. Craig's nurses, said that had my heart surgery been a pizza, it would have had to of been a Supreme, with all the ingredients possible..... Great job, team Craig!!!!!!

Great bedside manner. Explains everything where as you can understand about your surgery. I loved Dr. Craig took very good care of me. Thanks to him and his team.

Ultimate professional. I had an abdominal aneurysm combined with blockages in both illiac arteries in my legs. He was kind and understanding of my questions and together we decided on the best surgery option. Surgery was a complete success. Thank you Dr. Craig

DR. CRAIG PERFORMED THREE BYPASSES AND ONE HEART VALVE ON ME IN JUNE 2020. HE HAS GREAT BEDSIDE MANNER AND REASURRED ME EVERYTHING WOULD BE OK AND HE WASN'T WRONG. I FEEL 100 PERCENT BETTER. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE FOR HEART SURGERY IN HIS FIELD.
