Tennova Heart -Turkey Creek

I see Stephen Miller, and Malcolm Foster when things are really bad. but STEPHEN Miller is the best. The office staff is really good. I've been seeing this doctor doctors should I say for 16 years I wouldn't change for nothing. I would recommend them to anyone. They have offices and several counties. If you can't get to one I'm sure you can get to another office. They are very accommodating.

Dr. Darrin is such a great doctor every time we come for our appointment with Eric Dickerson. We have to wait well over an hour to two hours very inconvenient for our schedule.

If I could give zero stars I would. I called to make an appointment and was told they take my insurance and that my appointment had been scheduled. The next day I receive a phone call from the appointment line and was informed my appointment had not been scheduled and they do not accept my insurance but could pay private or do the care credit. Wonderful! Figured I would still be seen and go from there because I'm in need of cardiology services. Get all the way up here for my appointment and I'm informed that since my insurance is out of network they will not even see me as a private pay patient. Even if I need emergency services from the er, I could not be seen. This would've been nice to have been told during the 2 phone calls I had prior to driving up here and having to miss time from work just to not be seen. Life matters no matter the insurance!

I was sent to Turkey Creek from Lafollette for a cardioversion. They did as good of a job as possible. My heart, at least for now, is beating in a normal rhythm for the first time in a decade.

I'm sad that I have to give Tennova Heart 1 star. When I'm there for my appointments, the people are nice enough. However, my biggest issue is that I cannot get their attention away from the office. This has been an ongoing issue for the duration of the time that I have been with them (which has been a couple years now). For instance, I had a CT scan and it took literally weeks for them to get back on the results. Today is Wednesday. On Friday, I asked for a refill on a prescription. I used the method that they requested, which is to request the refill through the pharmacy. That didn't work, then I called Tennova Heart and left messages, and that has yet to work. So, it's frustrating that something so simple has to take so much time. I'm probably going to look for treatment elsewhere simply because this kind of thing keeps happen. Bummed!!
