Nowell Walker E DO

I saw Nowell for 14 yrs. As did my parents. We visited another Dr in Summit practice, do to our location, but we decided to go back to Nowell bc he knew us and we trusted him. Then, he declined to see myself and my parents. He declined to have any in-person conversation. He has declined me care that he knows I need for daily functioning without any conversation. I really don't understand, but I am greatly disappointed and hurt for myself and my parents. Even after speaking with a patient liaison nothing has been resolved. Their answering machine says," accepting new patients." However, we are being denied care and explanation. He is very unavailable and doesn't seem to care for his long time patients. I do not recommend visiting this practice.

I have to say after today's experience no one should attempt to go to this Doctor nor ANY Summitt health facilities. We moved from the area and had to see another Dr in the Summitt family and some how switched over to that Dr. as a PCP when we never asked for it. When trying to go back to Dr. Walker after several years of being his patient is now refusing to see my husband. It is shameful that Doctors dont' feel like they need to do their jobs and assist patients who really need help.

I hadn't had a physical in many years. Extremely pleased with the time he spent with me. Laid bad GP with some humor goes a long way. I would be searching for another doctor if he walked in the room with mask on.

I saw Dr Nowel for a physical and evaluation to become a patient last year. He talked to me for almost 45 minutes and was super cool discussing any questions I had. I recommend him to everyone!

We have been with Dr. Nowell for 10 years now. He is down to earth and a good listener. Highly recommend.
