I'm 82 years old and had a heart beat in the low 40's. Requested my previous Cardiologist about the need for a Pacemaker. I was denied as tests considered my low BPM my normal. Month later while on vacation in North Carolina, I fainted with a 26 BPM. An emergency operation was made to place a Pacemaker.. I asked my other senior citizen friends on a recommendation for a respected Cardiologist and another Physician recommended Dr. Joseph Petit MD. I'm very happy with Dr. Petit as my Cardiologist as he has been montering my Pacemaker and medications. Merry Christmas 2025.

Although I had quadruple bypass surgery in November 2020, Dr. Petit never suggested I have my carotid arteries checked for blockage. After my primary care physician retired, during the first visit with my new primary care doctor, he said, "we really have to have your carotid arteries checked". During subsequent testing the left carotid artery was found to be 95% blocked. Dr. Petit is no longer my or my wife's cardiologist.
