Dr. Meriwether takes great care of my Dad! Also, nurse Carrie (spelling?) is great, and she helped reschedule my Dad's ablation consult when we had a family trip planned. I appreciate the extra time she took to help him out. Thank you East TN Cardiology.

Dr. Meriwether provides my mom with excellent cardiologist care! So worth the drive from Johnson City to receive such quality care. Always friendly and professional, could not ask for any better care. So thankful to Everyone at Covenant Health!

My wife and I are very grateful and appreciative of the quality time and attention given us by Dr. Meriwether. We came to the appointment with accumulated feelings of discouragement and despair over the past eight years of dealing with my wife's diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease. Dr. Meriwether addressed our need with clarity, honesty, and compassion. He enabled us to find acceptance with his gracious expression of caring. He gave us a new level of patience and faith with his words of empathy and compassion. He is truly a grand contribution and compliment to Cardiology Associates of East Tennessee.

Dr Merriweather has recently put a pacemaker implant in to help with my ongoing heart issues. He has been very attentive ams has taken the time to explain everything ans answer any questions I have had. Glad to have been referred to him for this problem, he is an excellent cardiologist.

One of the best doctors I have ever been treated by. He is personable, friendly and very thorough. I had a tachycardia problem that had been bothering me for years. As a result I had been put on increasingly strong beta blockers. I had been referred to Dr. Meriwether by my cardiologist. Reviewing my previous tests, the doctor immediately diagnosed the problem and spent significant time explaining the possible causes and potential treatment. His nursing staff (Keri and Jeff, also excellent) quickly scheduled a day surgery procedure at Park West Hospital and within a few weeks my problem was surgically corrected. After the procedure I had to remain in recovery for four hours. By that time it was 8 PM, and we thought the doctor had gone home and left post op instructions with the RN monitoring my recovery. But no, even though Dr. Meriwether had been up since early morning, had performed two emergency surgeries as will as his normal schedule of procedures, he came to my recovery room and clearly and carefully explained the procedure, what he found and corrected, and what to do post op. Now I am feeling much more energetic as I am being weaned off those strong beta blockers. Great results! I could not have received better care, both from the doctor and the nursing staff at Park West. Clearly 5 Stars!
