Today I entered the comprehensive heart failure program at Rutherford for the first time. From the receptionist to the doctor I was treated with respect, consideration, and compassion. Dr. Chomsky is a Godsend. His knowledge is unsurpassed and you can tell he really cares about you. Thanks also go out to Kathy for making sure all my questions were answered even after leaving. Thanks to all of you for bringing some happiness to this heart of mine.

It's been awhile since we've been there, and Dr. Chomsky is responsible for that. My husband has a very rare heart disease. So rare, that in the later 90s was #7 in the United States, and most cardiologists had studied this, but never actually had a patient like this. That was 20 plus years ago and with the care of 5 doctors, literally saved my husband's life. Dr. Chomsky made an awful time bearable, and at times it was just that, but his personality and expertise gave us a new prospective on life, and tons of confidence to boot! Going in, we were early 30s with two young children, and fast forward to 2019 and early 50s, and 2 grown children with college educations, and still, and most importantly, their dad, and for that, I thank God and Dr. Chomsky along with the other doctors. Trust that you or your loved ones are in the best of hands. So thankful for Everything! Sincerely, the Carpenter Family!

My dad received an automated call from St. Thomas last Thursday CONFIRMING his scheduled appointment time for today, May 13th, only to get there and wait and wait, then find out what's going on and be told they didn't have him in the system at all for the day??? How does a hospital's automated system make a call confirming your appointment if you don't have an appointment in the system for Pete's sake? My mom even had my dad's appointment card showing his scheduled time. They live an hour or more away. This was such an inconvenience to them. Now my dad refuses to be seen again for another 6 months, if he doesn't cancel because of this, as if his health isn't in bad enough shape. They even told my parents that they would "squeeze him in" only "AFTER" all of the other appointments, which he couldn't wait because he had another appointment scheduled that he refused to be late to. This is very disappointing.
