Dr. Walkup is FULL of knowledge and completely knows what he is doing. He talks to you as if he is teaching a class full of students. He is very clear with what he is stating, and makes it understandable. I highly recommend him for your little ones. I would add more than 5 stars if I could. Thank him for his hard work and dedication to our children.

I only leave a 2 star because staff in the front was great! However, doctor was dismissive and did not like to hear we wanted a second opinion to be sure! We go to these places because that's what we are told to do, to be rude and talk to us like we're dumb is silly and without us patients where would yall be right? Bedside manner is most important and this walk up dr just doesn't have good bedside manner. Such a shame, I hope he actually does better in the future and assuring his patients instead of dismissing them when we are told one thing and they do one test and now suddenly its all in our head. I hope in the future patients get treated better by these doctors in today's world and get talked and assured better than we did here as a pediatric cardiologist, im disappointed in the treatment and the snarkyness in this place. And again nurses and front staff were great but like always doctors give places a bad rep.

He's actually incompetent. I went there almost two years ago for my heart rate at 17 when I had been passing out for no reason with my heart rate shooting up and it was miserable and happening multiple times a day. He gave me an ultrasound and said everything was ok and "it's a normal teenage thing" so I asked "so it's normal for teenagers to pass out daily?" He said" yes it has a name but I can't remember it, but yeah you're fine." After arguing with him about that and telling him I knew I have pots just please give me a test, I knew I was just talking to a brick wall. So every doctor I told what he said looked at me like I was crazy. It only took one other cardiologist to immediately say I had pots and got put on beta blockers. Please take your children anywhere else. He does not know what he's doing.

Dr.Walkup was very kind He was very patient he went into detail about what was going on and explained it in away we would understand. He was the first I have ever seen to step in and actually watch what was being done. Out of the doctors I have seen I can tell he actually genuinely loves and enjoy his job. Highly recommended.

Amazed at the top-quality care and concern of Dr. Walkup while my son was in the hospital. So patient, thorough and fun too. He was a definite plus for us in a hard situation. His extended staff, at our follow up office visit, was helpful and kind way beyond my expectations.
