Ballad Health CVA Heart Institute

I was treated by Ballad Health CVA's Dr. Chang following my admission to Johnson City Medical Center. This occurred back in July (2025) following a heart attack that I had at home. I'm thankful to be alive. Dr. Chang placed a stent at JCMC. Post hospital stay, I had a follow-up at his office this past Monday. I was seen in their office on Knob Creek Road in Johnson City, TN by Tiffany Able, NP. She was very professional and easy to communicate wtih. In facr, she's a lovely young woman who seems dedicated to her calling. I can't say enough good things about how everything played out. I feel blessed to have Dr. Chang andh is staff looking out for my needs at such a crucial time. Thanks to all of you. I do wish someone would consider putting a sign at their place of business stating the office is in the back of the building. I was lost for about 20 minutes trying to find the office. JCA1952

Excellent experience. My 93 year old mother had some irregular and low heart rate issues. We were there for a follow up after she wore a heart monitor for 2 weeks. The staff were exceptionally helpful and explained everything in layman's terms for us.

Every person that was involved with the treatment and testing of my condition were very knowledgeable and professional. They were all helpful at explaining what was being done to me at each procedure. Also, every one was as friendly as any medical person I have delt with.

My husband was in for a checkup and had a great visit with Miranda Kyker, NP. She is so easy to talk to and makes you feel at ease. Loved meeting her. Everyone at Ballad Health CVA Heart Institute is great!

Dr Chang is great. Saved my life 23 years ago. The lady who took my BP and took me to the room could have been a robot. No eye contact or smile or polite greeting. Seemed she wanted to be someplace else and I agree.
