Patient Reviews

Patient

I was a new patient for vein issues. I walked out angry on my third visit. All I wanted to do was talk to and meet the doctor reading my ultrasound results and who would also be performing my vein procedures. I was told by the staff and Dr Perera, who was extremely rude I would not see the performing doctor until the day of my procedure. I was made to feel stupid for questioning their practice and why I really needed to meet the physician before hand. Not one time did I meet a doctor from the first day I walked in until I complained. The nurse practitioner told me I needed 6 different procedures, but when I finally talked to Dr Perera he said I only needed 2. He told me it wasn't a big deal to meet the doctor until the day of the procedure cause you don't even meet a doctor before emergency surgery. That didn't sit well with me among several other things. They will not get my business and I will never go back!

My Father-in-Law, a Vietnam Vet who served 3 tours active duty in the Army and the Navy, and an Agent Orange survivor, waited for the VA to fix his legs for over 1yr. Dr. Dias Perera and his amazing staff of Nurse Practitioners stepped up and had him seen and scheduled for a procedure within a few weeks. Jennifer from scheduling was so helpful, kind, and an amazing advocate for my FIL. My family and I will be eternally grateful for the help you have provided. If you are in need of a Vascular surgeon, call this office! The care and advocacy is by far the BEST I have experienced in the South!

The Physician Assistant seemed to bothered to really care. They do have state of the art testing and technology. But treat all patients with due diligence regardless of the severity if the issue. They were referred for a reason. So don't ever minimize the process. Thats what diagnostic and confirmation tests are for. I'm glad my tests were negative.

Patient

The office area is outdated, dark and the floor had dead bugs and dirt on it. I should have left immediately but I was in so much pain I decided to stay. After several hours wait lying on a gurney, I was wheeled into the procedure room. They Dr was mad because my IV wasn't working, so he told the tech to put the IV in my groin. They refused any sedation, telling me the don't have the capacity to bring me back if I stopped breathing. Rudest Dr I have ever encountered. I was watching the screen during the procedure and asked are those the veins you're blocking. He slapped the screen away so I couldn't see it and told me he was killing my nerves, not my veins. After the lidocaine wore off by the next day, my knee pain was a lot worse than when I went it. It's so bad now I can't put any weight on it at all. Stay away from this crackpot!! Drs name is Daniel Alterman.
