Dr. Michael A. Nelson, MD

Michael Nelson is one of the few Doctors- that I've visited- that seems to genuinely care and a great Surgeon; twice he's been in my veins. I've watched his practice grow exponentially. 'A highly professional staff, tries to keep up with the demands of such growth. You need expect to wait, I always give them a hard time over waiting, but I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.

5 stars is not enough! Everyone from Check-in to Check-out is courteous, professional and personable. Dr Nelson has put together a staff that makes you feel they truly care about you and your health. You are called back within minutes of your appointment time and never made to feel rushed. In fact you feel seen and heard! They came recommended to me by a friend and I want to pass it on and highly recommend Dr Nelson and his team at Proactive Heart and Vein Center.

From the front office staff all the way to Dr. Nelson himself, my experience with every single person at this clinic has been nothing less than wonderful! I have had several procedures done, all with positive results. I could not recommend Proactive Heart and Vein Center anymore! 5 Stars!!

The staff is not only very knowledgeable but also very friendly and compassionate. Dr. Nelson repaired some bulging veins in my legs that were causing discomfort. I was able to train for and complete my first full marathon.

This was my first time to see a cardiologist. Dr. Nelson put me at ease immediately with his friendly and relaxed manner. All the other office staff and assistants were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this practice!
