Dr Borkowski, is the best doctor. My husband is his patient and he does not understand, but Dr Borkowski understands that and he talked to me and explains what and why he is doing something concerning my husband heart condition. Thank you Dr borkowski you are the only Doctor who listens to me about my husband and help to get problem solved. You deserve 20 Stars. I went to Dr Borkowski aka Dr. B this a m as all of the sudden I started feeling like I was going to pass out like i did over 1.5 yrs ago. . My EKG turned out normal that was done in his office! He is having me to wear a heart monitor for 30 days! I have been his patient for a few yrs & my late husband was his patient! I know I am in good hands w/ him as my cardiologist & I highly recommend him! The whole staff there is AWESOME!!!

I went to Dr. Brokowski after a Hypertension crisis and poor management of blood pressure. He was extremely thorough and explained everything. By trade, I'm a Registered Nurse, but he still took time to explain things that we were doing. The reasons why and what to expect. His bedside manner is impeccable. Not only is he smart, he is personable and the entire staff at Sutherland Cardiology is amazing. I can't say enough about him and the staff. I'm SUPER picky about who I see. Hands down one of my favorites.

I am 67 and I use a wheelchair with the assistance of my hysband. This was my first visit ever to a cardiovascular doctor. This was a great experience. Please do read on. :) The office space was beautiful and comfortable. The receptionist was really nice, with a pleasant voice and she was patient and attentive. When we went into the exam area and the exam room, ALL of the nurses and attendants were Amazing! They were kind, attentive, patient, and very personable. Dr. Brian Borkowski is one of the nicest doctors I have ever seen. As I said, this was my first cardio visit ever. He sat down in the chair between me and my husband. I liked that a lot. He made me feel like his equal, and as a female patient, that was particularly special to me. He introduced himself, told us about how he practices medicine and what he does in his specialty, and told us his goals for his patients. Throughout the exam, he was attentive to me and my husband, and made sure he looked back and forth to both of us. That was Very important to me. He explained EVERYTHING very well, starting with the medical terminology, then more easily understandable terminology, then a great and cute analogy. This way of communicating was so delightful and helpful. We understood everything, and I was not fearful about any information he shared. It was an awesome exam experience. But then we got to the last step of our visit: Check Out. Just when I thought this first visit might be a good one, IT GOT BETTER! :) The receptionist who checked us out was BEYOND AWESOME! Her name was Paula. She was polite, kind, and so very sweet. As I said, I am in a wheelchair. Paula stood up while addressing me and leaned over a bit so she could look me in the eye! That was so cool and so very nice and so beyond awesome. She took her time scheduling my 2 tests and next doctor visit. She told me what to expect at each test and printed out instructions for each one. I have NEVER in my 67 years met a better receptionist than Miss Paula. If you can find a way to let her know what I said I would very much appreciate it! Thank you. And thank you for the opportunity to let you know how well my visit went.

I am very impressed by how Dr.Borkowski listens to me and he takes his time ! He explains everything in detail. And he staff and team are great and very friendly ! I went for a stress test and all of the Sutherland staff are just kind and were so pleasant !
