Horizon Medical Center: Mitchell Donad H MD

I was there for 4 days and many serious issues. Put glucose instead of salin in iv. Caps came loose on my Port and was bleeding out. Took from 4 pm to 12 am to get something for reflux. Many times, they never came. Lots of issues,especially the night shift.

I went to Natchez ER with a diabetic sore on my foot recently, no big deal I thought, until Dr. Sanchez examined me, immediately admitted me, and sent me down to Horizon. I saw Dr. Sarb, who advised me my foot was so badly infected it had become septic, and would need to be operated on ASAP, In hopes of saving my foot. After two procedures by Dr. Sarb, one by Dr. Dijour, all within a week, I was told I had come about as close to losing my foot as one could, without actually doing so. I want to thank these two highly skilled men for the INCREDIBLE HARD WORK THEY PUT FORTH, to save my foot, and possibly my life. I also want to mention Drs. Holc and Chandler, for all their hard work, keeping me up to speed and informed about my changing conditions, along with taking time to answer any questions I had, to reassure me. Along with the nursing staff on first floor south, constantly making sure I had the best care available, these folks are as best as I've ever seen. God bless you all.
