Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville

Our experience in labor and delivery as well as postpartum was everything you would hope for thanks to the nurses and other staff. Our doctor, Dr. Coffey, was with Queen City who we highly recommend for all of your OBGYN care, but the nurses were wonderful, attentive, personable and comforting. We would specifically like to thank and acknowledge Nurse Velda for going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable in postpartum. Lactations consultants Kelly and Jordan were so informative and helpful. L&D nurses Robyn and the daytime nurse whose name I unfortunately forget, thank you for your outstanding care and support during our time in L&D you all are so appreciated. -The Poydras Family

I presented with stroke-like symptoms. I was handled quickly and professionally at each turn. Nurses were kind and professional. Physicians were quick to respond and kept me in the loop. Rooms were clean. Tests were run and the results were thoroughly discussed with me. Top notch treatment.

The staff at the front desk and scheduling over the phone were super kind and thorough! The gal who did the mammogram was patient and wonderful handling me. Only hiccup when I arrived, they were running 40 minutes behind, but they let me know right when I checked in which I appreciated. Overall, a good experience!

1 1/2 hours I waited to be seen! People before me were seen which was no problem but people coming in after me were seen. The waiting room was almost empty except for one more couple! Finally I went up to the receptionist and stated is would be 15 minutes more which turned into a 1/2 hours making it 2 hours! When I was escorted to a room for my bone density scan other room were completely empty. Ur staff needs to understand we have other obligations to attend and we set out appoints to these! This was completely uncalled for!

Before Tennova posts the usual automated "We're sorry to hear about your experience, please call us" response don't. You can call me. I was seen in the Tennova ER yesterday and was completely dismissed despite serious symptoms. The PA assigned to my care, Sean Bray, had a terrible attitude, showed no concern, and made it clear he believed there was "nothing wrong" with me. I was discharged with no meaningful evaluation and no answers. I was also discharged with a Foley catheter that staff refused to remove, and I was given zero instructions on how to care for it, manage it, or recognize complications. Sending a patient home with an invasive medical device and no guidance is unsafe and unacceptable. Less than one hour after being discharged, I was in Nashville and admitted to another hospital, where my condition was taken seriously. To make matters worse, the charge nurse lied and stated that Tennova does not have patient advocates, which is completely false. This was not just poor bedside manner it was negligent, dismissive care. I will be reporting PA Sean Bray to the state medical board and escalating this experience through appropriate channels. Patients deserve better than dismissal, misinformation, and unsafe discharge practices.
