Quite literally the worst care I've ever gotten. Was referred for Interstitial Lung Disease I got in the military (was retired for it after years of PFTs, CT scan and a biopsy!) the first time I saw him I brought a copy of the CT scan which was a little old so I asked if he would need a repeat and he said it wasn't necessary, I told him I also have asthma which is treated with albuterol, simple. He put in my chart I had shortness of breath likely due to obesity and scheduled a PFT. I did the PFT he said I actually do have lung problems, SMH. I returned 6 months later for another PFT, which function had decreased so they increased the inhaler dose which I was prescribed for ILD by military pulmonologist, cool they are treating things as they change. I now need paperwork filled out and they put asthma as the diagnosis, I corrected them and said I have ILD and they came to tell me they have only ever seen me for asthma there's no record of ILD! I showed them the referral stating I was to be seen for ILD and they said "well you're only treated for asthma go see your PCM for any other diagnosis" complaint filed with insurance, will not be returning.

I love Dr. Kadakia he is wonderful but getting a PA for medication is impossible. Been waiting for a month and the insurance keeps saying they are not filling out the paperwork correctly!!!

I had to come into town recently to help with my father who had just gotten out of the hospital. We approached this office and the doctor about a letter for the VA. My father only has about 60 percent of his lungs and also has COPD. They have been so uncooperative. My father worked on attack helicopters in the Army. He was exposed for 21 years to fumes from jet fuel, aerosol, paints, and other fumes that go with working on aircraft and in hangars. He had been having issues for many years, even prior to retiring. I called the office and spoke with Sonia. She told me that she was also a veteran so she understood what my dad was going through and needing. She explained that I had to get a letter from his primary care provider that he had lung issues due to his military service. This confused me but called his regular doctor anyway. His regular doctor that their job is simply to refer, but it was Dr. Kadakia's office to figure out what could've caused it. After two weeks of going back and forth with Dr Kadakia's office, they finally said they would write a letter for us, but that we needed to prove that he was in the military. I was a little dumbfounded. My father's Tricare for Life was being billed and they have a copy of his military ID on file, which they acknowledged this when asked about it. They still need a medical records or something to show that he was in the military. Because apparently his military ID saying, he was retired and the fact that they were billing TRICARE, wasn't enough. She said she only needed one medical file from the post hospital in order to show ties to the military for them to get him his letter. So I did better and got them his medical files but also his DD 214 which showed what he did for the military and that he actually worked on these aircraft. With his CD containing his medical chart, they told me they found a couple records of his having past issues. So I called back a week later and they said they are still looking through his chart to find more records. Wait a minute... didn't they say they only needed one? Now you have to search through 3 decades of medical records? Fast-forward another two and a half to three weeks, we finally get the letter and all it says was that they had proof that he was in the military and that he was a smoker. That is all. Not that it could be military related. All the letter needs to say is that it is more likely than not, caused by his military service. The VA doesn't need to know he was in the military. They already know he was in the military. What VA needs to know is what could be causing his issues. Once again, it is more likely than not caused by his military service. They didn't even take into account the existence that he was breathing in toxic fumes for 20 years in a hanger, and despite a US Presidential acknowledge of the harmful side effects to my dad's occupation, had they done any research. I even have the link to the US government website regarding this. The whole sad part about this, is not only did they waste five weeks or six weeks of our time, my father suffered a collapse lung again in the process and was hospitalized. Now on to my mom as their patient: My mom suffers from asthma. Which they tested and acknowledged. However, no one ever recommended that she go see an allergist. An allergist will tell her what she's allergic to, and could possibly help her avoid some of the things that could be causing her issues or recommend a better or stronger allergy medication. Instead, they just keep sending her home with inhalers and nothing else with it. In any case, I definitely do not recommend this office. We will be moving both of my parents out of there.

If I could rate with a zero star, I would do so. My mom's primary referred her to see Dr. K. We greatly trusted him at the beginning. We waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes until we saw him. My mom is a self-paid patient, which costs us about 186 dollars for this visit. When we see Dr. K., He asks what's going on. I explained my mom's situation to him. Without checking the most recent CT scan, he arbitrarily claimed that he could do nothing to help the situation. He seemed impatient and less caring. It is the WORST doctor visit that we've ever had.

I have NEVER seen a more uncaring, less attentive doctor and staff in my life. First he misdiagnosed my brother with stage 3 small cell lung cancer when in fact he was stage 4 non-small cell then he shows zero sense of urgency in his care. My brothers lung fills to the point of him drowning every week and my brother literally cries and begs this man to put in an order to have his lung drained then his staff says they are doing it ASAP and days later still no order forcing an ER visit with 02 level in the 80's. I don't understand how you can claim to provide quality care to men in women who are dying and begging you for help and you look the other way just waiting for them to die. Shame on you and your staff.
