Parkridge Medical Center

I thought my care at Parkridge excellent. My husband had a stroke in the waiting room while I was being prepared for surgery. The hospital was able to put us in adjacent rooms on the 5th floor. I was particularly impressed with my RN Sonny. He was extremely kind and went out of his way to be helpful.

I was recently hospitalized in conjuction with a spine surgery and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised with Parkridge - which was the hospital selected by my surgeon. Even though it is under major construction, it was a quiet stay. The entire staff was very attentive to my needs, knowledgeable and efficient. The hospital itself was very clean and the food was actually amazing - not your run of the mill hospital food. While I hope to never have to stay in any hospital again, should the need arise, I'd be more than comfortable choosing Parkridge over the bigger hospitals.

Every employee I encountered was professional, friendly and helpful. They worked together as a team to ensure that everything was taken care of in a timely manner. I don't remember the name of all the staff but I would like to recognize Cheyney, Sheldon and Seth. They were some of the staff that kept everything going before my surgery. A big thanks to everyone that had anything to do with my care while I was at Parkridge. May God bless all of you.

Your people are what give you a five star rating. The facilities are not great. I understand that you are doing improvements, which is good because you need them. Each and every person I met and interacted with made me feel safe and cared for.

I can't say enough about the staff here. From the emergency room to the ortho floor staff. They were absolutely amazing. Samantha the PT that came to help my mom took her time to explain every detail and was so patient with my mom. She went out of her way to make sure she had everything she needed to be comfortable and successful with discharge. She was the best PT we have ever had. She did not rush and made my mom feel like she was her only pt. When you think others would be rushing to get out of work, she took the extra time to ensure everything was right. She truly made our experience the best and if we ever need a hospital again, we will go to Parkridge.
