Dr. Shears took my case of severe aortic valve stenosis and 3 blockages, saw the severity and scheduled open heart surgery within a week. He did what he does best and today I'm three weeks past my surgery feeling better every day and my family and I are very grateful to Dr. Shears and the entire cardiovascular team at Erlanger Hospital for how they treated me as if I was the only patient in the cardio unit that week. I know that Dr. Shears is compassionate and caring toward each patients individual needs, and Chattanooga is blessed to have him here. Thank you Dr. Shears!
