On a cold winter morning December 3rd, 2024, my wife found me on the ground in the backyard not able to move. She came running out and asked me what was wrong, I told her I couldn't move and I couldn't breathe and my chest hurt. The ambulance took me to Tennova in Cleveland Tennessee. They did an emergency catheterization and when my wife saw the physician come out with my results in his hand she knew it wasn't good. He said that I was completely blocked in all five arteries of my heart and my wife had the choice of transferring me to Erlanger or CHI. I went to CHI was admitted to cardiac ICU. They put my wife and her sister in a small cubicle along with the two other families and they were waiting to speak with a doctor. At that time, my wife said Dr Craig came in, and sat down with another family that he just did surgery on this man's wife who had valve trouble in her heart. She couldn't help but listen to him explain what happened, what he did, and how sweet and tender he was to the family. My wife knew she wanted him to operate on me. This surgeon saved my life, replaced all five arteries, and I thank him and the Lord everyday, for that conversation my wife heard while waiting to speak to a physician. God bless Dr Craig. He is the best.
