I recently had surgery even though I didn't want it, I knew it was time. I wasn't exactly sure of what to expect. The information was given so, one would know what the options entailed. After being home I was able to recommend my doctors to others for their heart issues. While I was home recovering on a Sunday morning, I came across this song "Tell Your Heart To Beat Again" by Phillips, Craig, and Dean. Then, I came across the meaning behind the song. When I learned that a metal plate had been put in me as well, I had no idea of how big this plate was. I just knew the size of hurt my chest was feeling. So. what came to my mind was that the metal plate was a reminder to me of the breastplate of righteousness that God has given us to fight off sin and Satan's fiery darts. That breastplate is a reminder to me each day of God's righteousness. Hope this lifts your spirit as you go through your own surgery. I know many people have been praying for me as I go through this. I am sure many people will be praying for you as well. My surgeon was very nice and I would recommend him.
