David G. Malpass, MD, received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. He completed his residency training in pediatrics at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio and then completed fellowship training in pediatric cardiology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Malpass's special interests include caring for the infant, child and adolescent with congenital and acquired heart disease as well as sports cardiology, exercise testing, pulmonary hypertension and hypercholesterolemia. He is board certified in pediatric cardiology.

There is no words to say how great Dr. Malpass is. He takes time to explain what is happening and what we will be facing. He answer any question we had. He really cares about his patients and their families. He was there anytime we needed him. I thank God for being the one that took care of our daughter. The nurses, receptionist, ultersound tech was also great. They got to know everyone of their patients. We were truly blessed. Thanks so much for what ya did.
This was the most amazing Dr we've ever been to, very friendly and showed a lot of interest in my son and didnt hurry us up to get us out the way like most Doctors. My son even asked could we change to him for regular dr visits, unfortunately he only does cardiology which we won't be needing anymore. Definitely would recommend!
