My mother had a heart attack a few months ago. She absolutely loves her Dr (Dr Brown), but she's had issues with the statins awful side effects and has had HORRIBLE communication from this place!! It infuriates me to no end!!
About Dr. Brian Brown, MD
Dr. Brown received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Internal Medicine, followed by a residency at University of Wisconsin @ Madison - GME in Internal Medicine. Dr. Brown also completed a fellowship at Brown University Medical School - GME in Interventional Cardiology followed by another fellowship at University of Wisconsin @ Madison - GME in Cardiology. He is board certified in Cardiology. Dr. Brown practices at Medical Group of the Carolinas - Cardiology - Spartanburg in Spartanburg, SC.

He is a very caring doctor. He takes time with his patients and goes over test he has had done with you! My last visit to the hospital the in house doctor had me scared that I was in CHF . Dr.Brown has had me goes for several different test , wear a heart monitor for 14 days and has assured me at this time I m good. He has made some tweaks to my BP medication with hopes that will do the trick for me!! Thank you Dr. Brian Brown . Spartanburg needs more of you and like you !!

Everything was excellent from checking in to checking out and everything in between, glad I was finally seeing a Dr about my heart condition that actually explains everything from the causes of what's going on to the treatment and schedule a follow up to see how treatment is working. A scheduling snafu resulted in the office manager, Angela re-scheduling a follow up appointment with Dr. Brian Brown. The entire team, along with Dr. Brown deserves 5 stars today. Refreshing to meet with a Doctor who takes the time to explain in-depth the issue and then offers insight on future steps to resolve the problem. As a former medical reporter, I absolutely recommend him and his staff.
