Carolina Forest ER

I had a great experience at a great facility. The entire staff was professional, extremely qualified, knowledgeable and friendly. No waiting around for hours and after completing the registration process, I was examined in a matter of minutes. They diagnosed my problem quickly and took the appropriate steps [x-rays and a Steroid shot], in addition to sending Rx scripts directly my pharmacy. Many thanks to the excellent medical professionals who took care of me and fixed my problem. I'm so glad this ER is located in a convenient location that is easily accessible for so many people in the Carolina Forest area. Again, Thank you Carolina Forest ER! I'm doing so much better after my visit to this excellent medical facility.

I recently went to Carolina Forest ER and found this facility to offer exceptional service. I came by ambulance and was immediately taken to a room and assessed by a physician. I found all the staff to be professional and kind. My imaging and lab studies were promptly done and the results available quickly. I would highly recommend this facility.

I stopped by to get the right side of my ribs checked. Also, the left side of my back was hurting. I received a cortisone shot, and then I had a CAT scan. The test showed no signs of cracked ribs. Also, I was told I had calcium around my heart. The next day, the left side pain was not as bad. I'm surprised I did not get a urine test since I fell while running. Why did I not get an EKG regarding my fall and calcium around the heart.

If I could give negative stars I would. The nurses and check in staff were nice but the physician on duty was TERRIBLE!! Dr. Fisher was the physician in charge: He was forceful and rude and spoke down to both my mother and myself. He said that she needed a multitude of tests one being a head CT and my mom asked to do the other tests suggested first. He said that if she wouldn't get the CT then he was going to discharge her immediately and do none of the tests. He took her ability to make her own medical decisions away and gave her an ultimatum. He said that she had 5 minutes to make her decision And if it was still no to the CT then he wouldn't do anything for her. We asked for a different physician and he snapped at us and said no we couldn't have anyone else because he was the physician in charge. His tone, body language and his god complex was highly unprofessional. He's a walking malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen!!! Shame on you Dr. Fisher, shame on you!

William, the RN at this hospital, was amazing. He is so attentive and has great customer service skills. I love how he shows passion for his career through the love/care shown to his patients. My mother came in with terrible food poisoning symptoms and he was very thorough with questioning and answers as well as reassurance. Thankful for his warm personality and how quick he is on his feet. These are the reasons we ALWAYS choose Carolina Forest ER right next to Ollies. By the way, they're always fast and get you to the back pretty fast too.
