Patient
I was happy with Dr. Everman when I went to see her in December 2019. She arranged tests for me and talked to me about my shortness of breath and chest pain. I was not happy when I went back at the end of January and didn't see Dr. Everman but saw Roberta Allsworth (I think was her name). She gave me a diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension and all she told me to do was sleep in my side, that I would need oxygen if I flew and I would probably need a lung transplant in a couple of years. When I went to Massachusetts I was told by a cardiologist and a pulmonary doctor and my primary care physician that I would NOT need oxygen if I flew, and that I would not need a lung transplant. So I got false information, I did not fly and constantly worried. While I liked Dr. Everman, I will find another doctor when I return to SC in the fall. UPDATE: When I went to Dr. Everman's office at the end of January 2020, I asked that copies of results of any tests and office visits be sent to my doctor in Massachusetts. They were not sent. At the end of April 2020 I went back to the office to sign papers again asking that results be sent to my doctor in MA. Some things were sent, but not all. In July my pulmonary doctor in MA send requests again to Dr. Everman's office. My pulmonary doctor finally got the records sent to her at the end of August. That is 8 months to have records sent. That is unacceptable.
