My husband recently had his fifth heart attack in less than eight years. Dr. Wall was his cardiologist with his first heart attack and we were disappointed to learn that he'd left Florence when Rusty had his second heart attack. Rusty's fourth and fifth heart attacks were only two weeks apart. Dr. Wall checked every one of eight stents after the most recent cardiac event. He reviewed his medications to ensure they weren't causing calcifications to form around the stents. As Rusty's wife, it's very stressful for me to be unable to be at the hospital due to chronic illness. With each heart attack, I was told the doctors would reach out to me. Only one did so and he didn't allow me to ask a single question. But Dr. Wall called and it was as though I was chatting with an old friend. He was congenial, explaining everything thoroughly. He allowed me to ask questions and gave thoughtful answers. My husband and I were so pleased that we asked that Dr. Wall take him on as a patient. He readily agreed and we feel such relief knowing he is on the case. Prior to the most recent visit, we were planning to go out of town to find another cardiologist. Now, I'm happy to report that my husband will be getting his care closer to home because of our confidence in Dr. Wall.
