About Dr. Terry A Grainger, MD
Terry A. Grainger, MD, FACC, ABSM, is a cardiologist with Prisma Health Cardiology and a clinical assistant professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina. Dr. Grainger completed a fellowship in cardiology at East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina, and is board certified in cardiovascular disease and sleep medicine.

Dr Grainger has been my cardiologist for many years. He has always been empathetic and spends time listening. He had no problem with providing assistance years ago with getting my surgery done at Cleveland Clinic. Some physicians are "insulted" when a patient asks for another opinion, but Dr Grainger has always been receptive and helpful. Entire staff is friendly, professional and kind.

Very concerning visit he was very distracted and did not take my situation seriously at all l was shocked l would not recommend Dr G at all from my last experience He said some inappropriate things medically to me that did not make sense Directed me to a kardia mobile app instead of my Event monitor he appeared to not want to do with numerous requests l told him l felt very faint when walking one day he said it probably was dehydration he's making a assumption terrible among other concerning things he said l will never go to him again l have SVT he blew it off l also had to request my own blood tests He clearly was not caring about what l was there for
