Lars H. Runquist, MD

Dr. Runquist is the absolutely best cardiologist I ever met! I'm 78 so I've seen several both in Maine and South Carolina. Doctor takes his time and doesn't rush your appointment. He'll answer all your questions and will explain things so I could understand everything. You won't be unhappy with Dr. Runquist!!!!!

It was my one-year follow-up to check on my test results. Dr. Runquist came in, we discussed the results, and I made a one-year follow-up appointment. I usually get white-coat syndrome (my blood pressure goes up when I see someone in a white coat). Dr. Runquist was very professional and spoke to me in a calm and reassuring manner. I am very confident seeing Dr. Runquist for my cardiology needs.

I had excellent care starting from admission, nurses, (my nurse Hayes was excellent ) and Dr. Lars Runquist is the best of the best. I thank him so much for his care and compassion. His excellent explanation on what he was going to do, was so comforting.

Clean and well maintained offices/waiting areas. Staff/nurses friendly and worked with me getting all the info they needed. Dr. R is friendly, not IN THE LEAST condescending, answered all my questions and seemed genuinely concerned to make sure I have a full recovery.

Dr Runquist is a great cardiologist. Everytime I've been in the hospital, his bedside manners were excellent. He cares about my heart health and listens to my concerns. He orders the needed tests and his staff calls me with results quickly.
