Dr. Thomas treated my varicose veins. At 70 years old I suffered constant night cramps and discomfort. The only down time was recovering from the anesthesia. Less than 24 hours later I am without pain for the first time in a couple of years. The surgery was a breeze and left me with relief. The tiny needle mark is small and minor with an enormous result! I was treated with the utmost kindness and respect. Her team is the best! Thank You! Just thought I'd share the love with anyone who may be considering this procedure. You will ask yourself why in the heck you waited so long!

Wanted me her 20 minutes early for them to be over 30 minutes. Makes you sign something saying if you are sick and miss an appointment you owe or your insurance does..... worthless people.

I would give Dr Thomas a higher rating, but I cannot give the staff a higher rating, my experience the second time was traumatic, particularly with the tone and mannerisms of one attendant who was callous, if not sadistic, in the dismissiveness and disregard for my discomfort and being triggered at the way I was handled and not sedated prior to exposure and handling for the procedure. The first time I had been sedated and was unaware of what was going on. The second time I was extremely aware, and asking why I wasn't sedated, the female said they don't do that, I was getting triggered because of horrific trauma that too many many many many women were abused by in their childhood.. those memories do not go away and are easily triggered by certain experiences they have no control over being triggered by!-- I tried to choke back the tears but could not. One finally sedated me. Why didn't they do the same procedure as they did the first time and sedate me before that compromising, disrespectful, dehumanizing and degrading process?!! A week later and I am still battling flashbacks because of that woman's dismissive insensitivity and disregard.. and the other attendance went right along with her until someone finally gave me sedation! I went into a follow-up this morning, hoping to speak with Dr Thomas about this, but instead was going to be examined by the same male attendant, i think, who had been there during that procedure who I asked to please leave the room or be replaced by a female.... His manner was awkward and I had to reschedule the appointment. I understand, of course, that there are males in the medical professional, duh; and I understand my issues are my problem; but I do not understand insensitivity, dismissiveness, and callousness. UPDATE: Dr Thomas was so nice and attentive and reassuring about the nasty nightmare i experienced from the attendant; but the procedure itself caused more problems: I have more pain and swelling than ever before; and the pain has become debilitating, day and night, no matter how much more money i waste on numerous different compression socks, sleeves, pants, tights.... maybe i was mis-diagnosed --GHS/PRISMA has done that 3 times with my shoulder (now "irreparable" because of their negligence), prolapse issues (was another organ, not bladder!), they even misread URI test results 3 times till i begged to see someone else!..... Idk if being having Medicare insurance has anything to do with it, but i am getting more harm than help since 2016 -- and my mom broke both her hips and Medicare insisted on her getting screws instead of replacements, even tho she has osteoporosis -- so now she is crippled and can't even hold her legs parallel.... So maybe it's true that people on Medicare get substandard testing, care, medicines, etc? IDK. What i do know is this is worse than it was before.

They dont wear masks. Lomboy ran a bunch of tests and gave no real answers just wanted to do more tests. Did nuclear stress test and nobody monitored me after, just sent me on my way. I was having chest pain the rest of the day. When I called to see if I should go to the ER they said drink coffee. Wont go back ever.

My mom has been a patient of Dr. Lomboy and also Dr. O'Bannon. She has always received great health care and they seem attentive. However, since COVID, I have not been able to accompany her to her appointments even though she is hard of hearing and has diminished capacity in her understanding. While I understand policies must be upheld, there cannot always be a hard and fast rule, but should be case by case basis. Not everyone fits in the same prescribed box. They would not let me stay with her even though she asked for me to be allowed.
