Hello, I'm writing on behalf of my father, as well as my entire family, to give God praise for, and to officially thank and commend, Dr. Perera, a most honorable human being, who, fortunately happens to be a vascular surgeon who saved my father's life. Dr. Perera is a true gentleman; with the kindest heart my family has ever known. My father stayed in a hospital for 9 days because he'd accidentally hit a door with his foot and, as result, broke his toe. During that whole time, my dad was only given antibiotics because his toe was infected, but his healing was delayed due to unclear hesitancy on this hospital's part. Nine days were wasted due to indecision, while the clock was ticking on my father's life because he didn't have blood flow to his toe. We didn't know until it was later explained that my dad had blockages that were not being addressed in his legs. Antibiotics alone were not going to help if he could not get blood flow to his foot. If he had not broken his toe, a much more deadly underlying reason had been uncovered to help save not only his toe, but especially his life, yet no one was doing anything about it!!! That is - not UNTIL WONDERFUL, RESPECTFUL, CONSCIENTIOUS, WISE, AND CONSIDERATE DR. PERERA SHOWED UP, JUST IN TIME, LIKE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR SUDDENLY ARRIVING IN A HOPELESS SITUATION. HE CLEARLY EXPLAINED WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH MY DAD. THEN, HE TOOK THE BULL BY THE HORN AND WASTED NO MORE TIME AND SAVED MY DAD'S LIFE, LEG, FOOT... THOUGH IT WAS, SADLY, TOO LATE FOR HIS TOE TO BE SAVED DUE TO THE HOSPITAL'S APATHY! So now, if anybody has a problem with vascular issues, please don't hesitate to call Dr. Perera. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

I have been diagnosed with a vascular problem, which had me very worried . Dr. Perera explained it all very clearly, including my ongoing treatment, which provided emotional relief. Remember that getting old ain't for sissies! He is at the top of my health care team. I am also grateful for his talented and supportive staff.

Dr. Perera and his staff treated my mother-in-law and I with the upmost respect. They gave us detailed information as far as what was going on with her and what we needed for at home care. Dr. Perera was also very supportive in our struggles to get her bills paid by Humana. Although they did not pay the bill he cared enough to give her the medical assistance needed. We will be forever grateful for his assistance and look forward to our continued visits with them.
