Planned Parenthood - Providence Health Center

I travel for work 6 months out of the year. I only trust planned parenthood when it comes to feminine health care. But this location has restored my faith in humanity!!! I was treated with such dignity and the employees offer a professional atmosphere with a touch of personality Praise, (who was in training) made the experience so much more than I expected. From the Dr. to the staff, I felt seen, as a woman. They didn't stress me with insurance restrictions but instead provided answers and solutions perimenopause has wreaked havoc on my life, insurance has left me with more questions than answers and finally FINALLY! I have direction and hope thank you for being the better part of humanity in these times

NP Chang is amazing!! I really appreciate her, as well as the nurses that checked me in the office. I was so scared for long to get a Pap smear, because I was afraid the procedure wouldn't be gentle but i barely felt it. She made me feel seen, heard, and safe. Again I want to say seriously I appreciate you and everything you do thank you!

I've been denied care from this specific Planned Parenthood 2 times, and thus needed to go back to MA for care. The medical team is incompetent, impatient, and unhelpful. They have denied me services based on my medical history, despite me explaining that the conclusions they have come to are incorrect and based of clearly very old medical records. (ex. Stating i have current heart issues, when I had a heart issue 30 years ago when I was 9). They dont listen to their patients of color. I felt talked over and ignored. And whats worse, is they wait until the last minute to deny you service. Literally both times, ive made my appointment 1-2 weeks in advance and both times i got a call 2-3 hrs before my appointment telling me that i cant be seen. If you are a woman of color, dont bother coming here. Try MA PP, they have much better service and care for their patients. This location gives the entire construct of PP a bad name.

The BEST place to get your procedure done. The nurses there incredibly empathetic and knowledgeable. I honestly didn't think it would go as smoothly as it did. The doctor is incredibly kind as well and incredibly good at his job, and I'm just so happy i was given a choice. They really care and it shows.

I was able to get an appointment within a day of me calling to schedule, after having a bad experience at another women's clinic. The staff here are very professional and kind. I plan to look into other services they offer for the future and recommending them to others.
