The staff is not only rude and unhelpful, but unable to handle simple tasks like returning phone calls and taking accurate messages. I've honestly never dealt with a less professional medical staff. I have wasted 8 months attempting to work with them. They have made mistakes multiple times on orders for testing, including one of the technicians having to call the doctor to explain why he couldn't do the orders, and waiting over a month to submit preapproval causing cancellation in the testing. Even after being informed as to why the issues happened, and me explicitly explaining what the insurance and testing facility have both confirmed the issue was, multiple clerical errors on the cardiovascular Institutes part, the nurse informed me it couldn't have been their fault and both my insurance and the testing facility were wrong and I would need to handle it myself. I've waited over an hour to have blood pressure taken because the staff didn't seem to believe my PCP. My PCP was treated poorly and rudely by the staff because their inability to keep things in order. After test results were available, and being promised the cardiologist would call to discuss the results, 7 weeks have passed and still no information. I've been hung up on because I told the receptionist not to yell at me. After 8 months of dealing with ineptitude, I'm glad to say I'm finally free. Don't waste your time. Honesty the worst "office" I've ever dealt with.

I had a had a device inserted to monitor my heart. I had an appointment with Dr. Panda on July 18 for a follow up which the office cancelled. They could not give me another appointment with Dr. Panda because the office had no idea when they could book appointments for him. They referred me to another doctor and I said ok. The only appointment was for August 1 which i was unable to make. I was then told they will call me when they will be booking appointments. They had no idea when that would be. I subsequently called Mass General and got in in 2 weeks. I will never go back. Obviously too many patients to handle and I felt my case meant nothing to them. They could care less.

I've had to go here twice now. On my first visit, I waited nearly an hour to see the doctor. The doctor was great. But nobody once bothered to say: "Hey, the doctor is running a little late. Would you like to re-schedule or can you continue to wait?" I think that is common courtesy. Went back today for another appointment. I was one time. They were not. Again. So I was unable to stay for my appointment. If you are a working person and your doctor refers you here you might want to consider going somewhere where they will keep their appointments.

I was seen by Dr. James F. Robertson at Lifespan and Miriam hospital in Rhode Island; Cardiovascular Institute made a medical determination of health without evidence. It appears that Doctor James F. Robertson did not take the time to review my electrocardiogram chart to have made his conclusion to have found nothing wrong with my heart. I had to request an exam called Echocardiogram with TMH CVI PROV STRESS ECHO. And that order was entered wrong in the database. I had to have the patient check out clerk verify the status of the order with the Doctor and correct the error. At no point in time did the Cardiovascular Institute ask me to sign a medical release of records, from the prior medical facilities were I had my echocardiogram done. How was Dr. Robertson making an impulsive decision without knowledge of my history and facts to my health? I question his credibility and professional ethics. As of April 26, 2017, Dr. Robertson failed to provide additional reports to submit to the health insurance provider for medical approval. I have submitted a complaint to the Board of Health in Rhode Island for investigation of the discrimination and misconduct.

The place is clean and well labeled. I was surprised at the quiet and the calm feeling inside.
