Do NOT go here. The level of unprofessionalism of the practice is just completely baffling. I saw a great NP here for an initial appointment, but otherwise this place is horrible. Good luck getting anyone on the phone! I called numerous times the week before and days before a procedure that they never confirmed and never sent the prescription for to my pharmacy. All I had was a piece of paper with instructions but no prescription. I left multiple messages with the scheduling coordinator, doctor's extension line, office... and NO ONE ever contacted me!!! When I finally got hold of a receptionist the day before my procedure, she tried to tell me it's my fault I didn't fill the prescription in time even though my pharmacy never received it(!!) and then rudely sent me to voice-mail (which wasn't even voice-mail, just a dead line) when I explained the lack of communication I experienced and my frustration about the fact that it is now impossible for me to do the procedure because they didn't send the prescription. I'm so disgusted.

I have been coming here for almost 15 years, pretty much at five-year intervals. The service and treatment have been excellent. They do tend to be very busy but have been able to fit me in when needed.

So, it takes forever to get someone on the phone. Then you leave voicemails, that's assuming the line doesn't beep busy and kick you or send you to the wrong mailbox. The individual working the desk is very disorganized and doesn't appear to know what she's doing. I was 10 minutes early for my appointment, but because of her inadequacy and her not letting them know I was there the nurse began to scold me for being late.The icing on the cake has been just now. I was told to show up to the hospital for a test and when I got here discovered I was given the wrong time by the nurse at Gastro! I specifically asked if I needed paperwork and was told no that it was faxed! Things can only get better, right?

I am beyond disgusted on how rude everyone in the Narragansett office it. Everyone from the receptionist at the desk to Deidra Smith the RNP. I have never been treated so poorly in a medical facility. I have been using them for years, I will not be returning. Instead of wanting to find the root of the problem they just want to put Band-Aids on it. They ask you a question then talk over you, they make you feel like your symptoms are just made up. Way to make your patient feel more like a burden.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Elevado and his staff. They couldn't have been nicer and more efficient. I also had an endoscopy at their east Greenwich location and that was a great experience too. Everyone was pleasant and I was very well cared for. I highly recommend them.
