About Dr. Olga Shabalov, MD
Olga Shabalov, MD, is certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. She received her medical degree from the Latvian Medical Academy and completed her residency and fellowship at UPMC Shadyside. Dr. Shabalov's clinical interests include treatment of coronary artery disease, hypertension, preventive cardiology, and women's health. Dr. Shabalov lives in Pittsburgh's East End with her husband and French bulldog. She is an avid hiker who can frequently be found on the trails of Frick Park. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She is fluent in the Russian language.
