Pottstown Hospital

I had my heart defibrillator changed last Tuesday and I went home the same day with no complications. After 2 1/2 days I started to lose my appetite. I wasn't drinking food and I wasn't eating for like the next three days. Today being fourth day I'm feeling better they gave me diuretics and BMX to help get excess fluid away from my heart and they took probably close to 1200 cc of fluid away from my heart and away from my lungs so I could take better deep breaths because that was hindered a little bit by all the fluid and it freed up my heart to be able to pump a little better which I need help with that because I do have a weak heart. The way it looks, I might be going home tomorrow, December 21 or December 19 just so my food ride anymore than what it is. I'm feeling better but they did an excellent job here Pottstown Hospital.

From the very beginning my therapist Caroline made me feel very welcome. We had good communication, she listened, which made it much easier for me to also listen back. Although I'm not 100%, I have improved greatly with this therapy help. I want to thank everyone from the receptionist to my therapist for such a wonderful experience Georgia Blanchard

When I get back into the exam area including the last ladies before being called in everyone is so friendly. They are like friends. I can't say that much about the "greeters" at the hospital front doors. They are not even professionally friendly. The technicians make me comfortable during the tests. And also bid me adieu when we're done.

The pre-op team was great! The nurse's on the 4th floor Amanda, Ty, Heather, Christine, and Angie were the best Thank you for giving me the best care. And Faith did an excellent house keeping job. Thank you!!!

Thomas the nurse that was trying to insert an iv was having difficulty couldn't do it and through up his hands and walked away. Then the girl that was helping the anesthesiologist had so much perfume on I was having trouble breathing. Not my choice of hospitals but that's where my surgeon operates.
