Katie Berlacher, MD, is a cardiologist and is certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine and adult echocardiography by the National Board of Echo. She is the medical director of the Magee Women's Heart Program, the program director of cardiovascular fellowship, and is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr Berlacher is an exceptionally kind and caring physician. She spent much time performing a physical exam along with discussion my symptoms and outcomes. Dr Berlacher was truly concerned about me. She also answered all of my questions. Dr Berlacher is a fantastic cardiologist and I would see no other cardiologist.
All my concerns were addressed. A clear cut plan was made. Both Dr Berlacher and her fellow were great.
All of the staff in Dr Berlacher's clinic made me very comfortable, especially the person who took my vitals... With apologies for forgetting the name, the Dr.'s Fellow took an excellent history, reminding me of forgotten information. Dr Berlacher is friendly, easy to talk to. She explained to me in everyday language possibile causes and potential tratments, all in an upbeat manner. I left there well informed and reassured.
