Ward, DO, is a cardiologist and is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Osteopathic Medicine and in Cardiovascular Diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Allegheny General Hospital followed by his cardiology fellowship at UPMC Shadyside. Dr. Ward's clinical interests include resting/stress echocardiography and interpretation, nuclear stress testing and interpretation, transesophageal echocardiography; and his research interests include graduate medical education.
