Dr. Gordon Gold, MD & Associates-UPMC

Completely unprofessional. I had an appointment scheduled for 7:30. I called the office at 7:40 to inform them that I was stuck in unexpected traffic due to an accident and was almost there and was met with an answering machine that told me their office did not open until 8. Confused, I called back and someone finally answered. The woman who answered confirmed that the office did not open until 8am and recommended that I should still keep coming, so I did. After arriving, the receptionist and the rude woman behind her both started arguing with me, claiming that "no one ever answers the phone before 8" and that I had to reschedule my appointment due to being late. They are unhelpful liars who should not be in the business of helping people. After getting back to the car my partner admitted that they also heard one of the nurses in the back making distasteful comments as well. Totally disgusting. I will not be returning.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Bugarija for several years now. Leaving this practice ONLY because it's too far from our home. Dr B has taken very good care of us. He is very personable and always takes time with us. Karen Scanlon has also been teriffic and very helpful when asked about something.

This has to be one of the worst doctors offices I have ever experienced. The staff is extremely rude, especially when you call to make an appointment. My father has been without his medicine and can barely breathe after taking a few steps, and they have been completely dragging their feet to just send the prescription to the pharmacy even after explaining to them that he feels as though he is dying and will probably have to go to the ER if he doesn't get it. It has now been about a week since he's been trying to get them to send his prescription to which they tell him they're working on it or they don't know who is working on it and keep in mind it has already been approved by the DR it just needs sent over. Trying to get an appointment even if it is something very serious, It is at least two months and once again, they are extremely rude to you. I cannot believe that this place still has patients willing to put up with being disrespected by a Clearly, incompetent staff.

If you like a thorough doctor then please, pick any other office and pick any doctor other than Kamran Khan. You'll be waiting for 30 minutes in the lobby, only for Dr Kahn to not investigate health issues you are having as he's more interested in rushing the physical as fast as possible. The last time I went they had me back out within 5 minutes, how is that remotely enough time to conduct a physical and check for any common health issues to prevent?

I have been seeing Dr. Bugarija for about 3 years now with Dr. Gold and Associates. Dr. B always listens to me and I feel he genuinely cares about me. He tries to take his time and I do know he's on a tight schedule, but he tries not to rush things. Even on telehealth visits-he still makes as much time for me as I need. He always asks about my life, family, and work. He's very upfront and honest, especially with some stuff which is difficult to talk about, but he's fair and just wanting to help and be straightforward. This I greatly appreciate. He's helped me out with my mental health as well as being proactive for watching for other issues internally. I cannot say enough good things about him. Thanks for being there and a trusted advisor for my health.
