If I could I would give Dr. Lasorda 0 stars. On April 26 2022 I was scheduled for heart surgery. The week before I was called by his nurse (I believe her name was Ann) and told to go on a blood thinner and off of my bleeding ulcer medication. I informed her this was a recipe for disaster but she said if I wanted the surgery this is what I had to do. I don't believe she ever asked the doctor. I hesitantly complied and the day before my surgery my ulcer hemorrhaged and I was taken by ambulance to AGH. After being admitted and losing 50% of my blood supply, my surgery was cancelled. I was in the hospital for almost a week receiving transfusions and fighting to stay alive and not one time did Dr. Lasorda come to explain or apologize for his incompetent employee. Two years later and I'm still waiting for surgery and an apology.
