Not surprised to see all of these bad reviews. We had a bad experience this weekend and will NEVER go here for ER care. Some staff were good but rest of staff and care barely mediocre. They acted like they didnt care about the patients and were just there for a paycheck. They took my son's personal belongings before we got there and never gave them to us when we arrived. They removed his jewelry for a scan.and we never got it back. We received horrible discharge instructions and he never received his personal items.back. when we called they gave us a run around so we went there to get them and we treated with so much disrespect by a rude, ignorant head ER nurse Lauren who made derogatory comments and did not care. The past 2 days they still cant find his important belongings and we are getting the run around and.no one is getting back to us about where they are. This is totally unacceptable! We have spent so.much time trying to get somewhere with this because he needs these things back. He got hurt and was brought in which is why he had these items on him but we showed up 30 mins later and they should have been given to us then and/or at discharge. Then to ignore our calls to try to get this back????

This past Sunday my husband and I went to the ER because he needed to be seen. The wait was 4 hours. The waiting room was a mess. People throwing up in disposable bags and someone literally needing narcan right at the ER door. I am glad it worked for this man but then to put him half dressed right in the middle of the ER seemed like a huge safety concern. However, it got worse when we were finally called back. My husband was put in the hallway during the entire stay that night. We were there another 4/5 hours. The dr. that saw us approached us with not even looking at his chart it seemed because I asked several questions about his blood work and the dr. (Who I so badly want to name but will not) said oh I will go look at that. We had a nurse who had no clue how to put an IV in, she then took him for a catscan, brought him back and hooked him up to fluids and we never saw a nurse again. The doctor came back with urine sample results but then soon returned to say sorry I was looking at someone else's results. He then said once the sample comes back, I will let you know and you can be discharged. Another hour goes by and I go to the nurses station and she proceeds in a very nasty tone to say oh he has been discharged. Well no he hadn't because we are waiting on the doctor and he is still hooked up to an IV. Then I look up and sure enough the Dr has his back pack on and is leaving. Well he saw me getting "pretty upset" and turned around and came back. No apologies just telling us how he had 30 patients and he wants to go home too. How their were more pressing patients then us. His bedside manner went from semi ok to in the toilet. Oh and speaking of toilet, my husbands bed was outside the "soiled holding/biohazard room". The janitor was also annoyed we were there because he needed to be able to get in and out of that room! Never again will we go to that ER. The waiting room, the ER nurses station and this particular Dr. need a lesson on how to treat people with respect and dignity!
P.S oh and forget about HIPPA because everyone in the waiting room heard everyone's business and if you were "lucky" enough to get a "hallway suite" everyone hears what the drs are saying to you!

Worst hospital and even worse ER. I waited for 9ver 7 hours to get a simple procedure done. At one point I got up and asked the front desk on the timeframe and I was being lied directly to my face by the lady in the picture. She stated she called my name 45 minutes back which was not true as I was very close to where I could hear my name clearly. Also, I had no ear buds.
Extremely incompetent & a lying staff.
It should be non-ER and not ER.

The emergency room here is deplorable. My mother was in a car accident and as I arrived I was greeted with being ignored by multiple staff, all who were having their own conversations and taking their sweet time eating and chit chatting. Clearly upset and disheveled by the situation I was in tears and as I was finally able to talk to one of the staff to get checked In there was no urgency, no care, and I was only met with in my opinion utter disrespect for what would be a terrible situation anyone would have to go through. They continued to talk while checking me in, which took 15 minutes ! And as I'm trying to urgently get back to my mother the front desk lady said I'll "see" if you can see her. I clearly responded to that negatively saying 'I am going to see her' and the security guard who like the rest of them was not doing his job having not been at his station and instead talking with the people I was suppose to be checking in with as well as playing tic tac toe on hospital paper excitedly told me to calm down. After all the fuss I was finally aloud back which I have to say wasn't any better, the staff were friendly enough but no urgency for a woman who had been in a serious car crash and brought in by ambulance. The head doctor of the ER was great however. I would never step foot in this hospital or have any of family in here if there were choices, personally I believe all of the front desk staff should be reprimanded or retrained. I will say though as crappy as the ER is the cancer wing is very good my grandmother having been there where she was diagnosed with esophagus cancer

My elderly mother, who is wheelchair bound, went to this ER tonight after a fall and hitting her head. She's still waiting after nearly 4 hours to be seen, so I can't comment on the quality of care past the waiting room. She asked for assistance to get to the bathroom and was told to wait and when she said she would have an accident. A staff person responded "yes go on the floor." When I called to ask what was happening, another staff person very rudely said "doubt that happened" before putting me on hold and returning 15 minutes later to say she confirmed it happened but said it was sarcasm as though that made it ok. I asked twice to speak to the charge nurse and was refused. This treatment of patients in deeply concerning and we certainly will not be using or recommending this ER. I am hopeful that once she actually gets seen the experience improves but it feels unlikely with this kind of behavior from professionals entrusted with caring for emergency patients.
