Call and call and call over and over again and the phone just rings and rings, no matter which menu option you choose. Leave a message and receive no call back. Is something wrong with your phone system?! When my insurance company calls- same thing. My provider is decent when I see her, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1, but the facility as a whole is severely lacking in communication. I haven't experienced rude receptionists like the other reviewers. If everything goes smoothly you're fine but God forbid your insurance needs prior authorization for a medication you're prescribed. I'd suggest taking your money elsewhere.

would not recommend doing to this location if you can help it. The receptionist was rude and the surgeon would not even come out to speak to me. I had a hernia back in 2015 due to a pregnancy it was fixed and I went on with my life that was 8 years ago. I know have what I thought is another hernia went to my primary doctor was told it is a hernia and I need to follow up with a surgeon. Ask her if I need to see any surgeon in particular she stated no. I then checked out and was scheduled a follow up with this surgeon at this location. I took time out of my work day. it is the end of the Year do not have a lot PTO so I make it work and went there. When I got there I was talked to by the receptionist short a nasty was advised they would not see me because I had to see the surgeon that did my first hernia repair even though it is 8 years ago and I was not told by my primary Doctor, Geisinger scheduler, I confirmed the apt on the My Chart and did the before apt questionnaire. When there I asked if I could speak to the surgeon I was told no. I asked what if I do not want the 1st surgeon to do this one she stated does not work that way this is the policy! 2nd time I was push in to do something I did not want to by a Geisinger office or doctor!

It took me several months to get an appointment at this location which is about an hour and ten minutes from my house. I took it despite the distance because I needed the appointment for as soon as possible. The morning of my appointment I had an emergency with one of my children. I called the office to let them know I was going to be running about 10 minutes late and make sure that was OK. I was told they would let the doctor know. They didnt reschedule or cancel at that time so I drove over an hour to get there. I arrived, about 15-20 minutes late because of traffic/construction. When I got there I was informed they couldn't see me. They cancelled my appointment. I explained that I wish they would have told me that when I called so I didn't drive all the way there. The receptionist was so rude. Awful experience, I literally left in tears. I understand I was late and take full responsibility for that but there was nobody else there when I arrived and they made absolutely no effort to assist with my situation. I am typically always early for appointments and can't count how many times I've waited well past my scheduled appointment time (because I understand unexpected things and emergencies happen sometimes). I won't be going back to this location.

Don't bother calling this place, they wont answer and if they do call back it will be in 3 weeks, go here if you want your medical issues to be taken care of at a snails pace. Oh and all of the "solutions" to my problems were never solved, nothing like a hour and a half drive and hundreds spent only to have zero results, american health "care" am I right lol?

Bad A.I. call set up. Easy in and out though. Must not be used by many people...
