I saw Dr. Patel for the first time today. He was very nice and spent about 30 minutes with me...was through. Ordered labs that he said could be done in Hanover (where I live) and he will call me with the results.

If I could have given 0 stars I would have. It's a shame when you are on a medicine that you have to take everyday and they have 0 sense of urgency to refill your script. Dr. Patel, my endocrinologist, had a secretary leave a message on my phone to cancel my appt because he would be away on vacation. Because of that, I was not seen on that day. When I called in for a refill they told me they would let him know. I had my pharmacy send 4 refill requests to him and still nothing. Finally I called back again and they said I needed to reschedule a follow up before he was willing to fill my script (its thyroid medicine, not crack). I scheduled the appt and he still did not fill it. I had to call back again and FINALLY he called it in to the pharmacy. I ended up going 2.5 weeks without my medication. I'm just disgusted at the lack of patient care.
