Dr. David S. Kleinman, MD

Dr. Kleinman is THE BEST Cardiologist in Delaware County! He is my husband's and my daughter's doctor and the level of care is ALWAYS a 10+. He did pacemaker implants on both of them and the treatment and after care he provided was phenomenal. I love him. He makes me feel like I'm apart of their care (which I am of course). Where most drs. would speak just to the patient and ignore the caregivers, he doesn't. He explains EVERYTHING to me in detail and takes the time to make sure I understand the severity of their cases without frightening me. I'm always well informed and confident when I leave their appts. KUDOS Dr. Kleinman and staff. You guys are the GREATEST!!!

Kudos for Dr. Kleinman as he inserted a pacemaker in my chest and removed a heart monitor all in the same sweep. I am so pleased with the outcome of the surgery. You can't even see the scar from the incision. This shows not only a man who is skilled in his work but also one sensitive to the cosmetic concerns of a woman. Thanks so much Dr. K.

My spouse (a dual board certified doctor with a top medical university) and friends are doctors and they, like myself, are disgusted by Dr. Klineman's negligent patient care. My 89 year old father had a pacemaker that needed a new battery. I asked Dr. Klineman if it was a safe surgery for my father and he said it would be no problem. I questioned whether my father even needed the surgery since the pacemaker only kicked on 27% of the time...regardless, he said my father needed the surgery. My father arrived for surgery with diarrhea, but Dr. Klineman still operated on him ill. He discharged my father from the hospital dispite him being extremely disoriented and not feeling well. My father stayed with me dispite Dr. Klineman saying he would be fine to go home by himself. That same day, I called the office because my father was totally disoriented and his diarrhea was still severe. The office said he went home and was not available. To help my father's post surgery problems, I required 24 hour nursing aids because my father was so sick and confused. The next day my father started to have extreme pain when urinating similar to a UTI. I called Dr. Klineman's office and again he never returned my call. Then, Crozer hospital called to see how my father was doing and I told them I was bringing him to the ER. While back at the office, I called Dr. Klineman's office for him to see my dad. He never showed up dispite a second call. Today, I took my doctor for his post op visit with Dr. Klineman at the Chester office. To my surprise, my father saw a nurse...even after I told her the surgery almost killed him. My father is now in a nursing home in a wheel chair, but the week before surgery he was performing in the senior olympics and won 2 metals in the 2 sports he competed. Moral: beware of doctors who only care about billing for a surgery and not the patient.
