IHS Cardiovascular Center - Crossroads Campus

I went in to get a holter monitor placed. My appointment was for 7:15 AM and I was the only one in the entire waiting room. I didn't get called back until almost 7:45 which isn't a very long wait time but for 7 AM and the only one in the office it's too long of a wait. I got called back by the nurse named BARB. She was very rude and not friendly at all. She wrapped all of my monitor cords twisted around my bra so it made it impossible to wash myself off after a 12 hour shift at the hospital. She also left red scratch marks that are now scabbed up every place she put the electrodes on me. All in all I don't recommend.

If I were to review the doctors at this location they would get a 5 star rating. The office personnel on the other hand doesn't even deserve a full star! They obviously do not have enough people working there to handle calls or return important documents to other doctors when requested. It is to the point of ridiculousness that you and the dr office needing the requested documents have to fax and call there at least 10 times to get anywhere. Then when they send the document it isn't even filled out. No one answers the phone unless you pretend you're a dr and hit "1"!!!!

Tried to get in there and Val basically called me a liar stating it was my responsibility to get a auth from my insurance and I was told this. I told them I was never told this and she basically called me liar and told me I was told this. I said no I wasn't she said yes i was its written here. I hung up with then and thought waid its not my responsibility to call them and I called back got val again and told her its not my responsibility she said yes it is and she kept interrupting me. Needless to say im going elsewhere. Very unprofessional.

I have been seeing these people for over ten years; nothing but knowledgeable, friendly, professional group of dedicated individuals.

I had a very bad experience... Even though my life kinda depends on seeing a cardiologist I cannot see myself going to this practice again.
