Dr. Balarantna and his Fellow and PA, are the best in this country. My father is his patient and he preformed miracles with him, my father is a sick man and he has made quality return to my father. Dr. Balaratna bedside manner with patients and family is outstanding, he explains every step to his patience and family outstanding. In today world of health care this is very rare quality, he one of a kind. Thanks to all of his staff for the excellent care they gave my father at Abington.
My husband John went to Abington ER 10 years ago with severe chest pains and Dr Belaranta was on call. I can only say he is the Greatest doctor we have ever met, especially under the circumstances! He is a kind man and when anyone we met asked who the dr was, as soon as Dr B's name was said they all said "you are so fortunate, he is the best" My husband lived ten more wonderful years to see two more grandchildren born (total of 12) Our last daughter get married and so much more. Thank you Dr B for giving us 10 more years, His heart was strong till he passed in June of lung cancer. I am so very thankful for him! Bobbie Ward
