The Oregon Clinic Cardiology

I was warmly greeted by office staff who were friendly and very professional. My appointment started on time, if not a few minutes early. I met with DNP Hillary Jenson, who I have met with the last three or four visits. She is outstanding, and is always up to date on my record. I highly recommend her to anyone who is under the care of DR Garg.

Everyone at the Oregon Clinic was amazing, explaining everything clearly, and making all the logistics a breeze.

The Oregon Clinic has great doctors and much easier to get an appt vs the big hospitals like Providence.

I arrived on time for my appointment, was quickly checked-in by the front desk staff. Within a few minutes I was called back by the clinical associate and had vitals taken and medications reviewed. Within a few minutes the doctor came in, reviewed my recent history and we discussed a treatment plan. I felt fully involved in the decisions.

I saw, for the first time, Dr. Garg in Tualatin, OR, on September 5, 2024. I am a woman of 84 years of age in reasonably good health but have had imaging detecting fairly-advanced calcification on one of my aortic arteries and had had my past medical records forwarded to him. Dr. Gard did seem to have reviewed my history, and I had researched his reviews. While I agree with him that my previous physicians might have slightly over-reacted to my plaque buildup for my age, I also agree with some of his prior reviews that he is somewhat brusque and demeaning to his patients. Specifically, he completely disagreed with the longterm-arrived-at treatment of my incredibly-labile blood pressure which has taken years managing my fluxes from high to low with careful immediate control of my BP meds. Instead, he simply seemed to dictate that, "I prefer a more consistent low dose." In short, I did feel he was competent but that he might need to adjust his attitude a bit toward his immediate patient. Overall, I respected him and will see him again if he can soften his apparent arrogance .
