Dr. Randy Jones is an excellent provider. He explains everything to you and takes as much time with you as you need. He always asks if you have more questions and says to call anytime if you think of something. He truly cares about his patients and is very likable and easy to talk to. He performed a cardiac cryo-ablation on me without any problems and it was successful. He is with the Heart Rhythm Consultants and he and his team have very defined procedures and protocols that they follow for good results. The nursing team in the unit you stay in before and after your procedure are all trained in how to care for you after your specific procedure. Dr. Jones and his team along with the Providence St. Vincent nurses provide an extremely high level of care and followup. Even if I lived away from Portland, I would go out of my way to treated by Dr. Jones and his team.

Worst experience with a doctor - rude, intrusive, assuming, and massively inconsiderate! Jones proceeded to interrogate me regarding my hand deformity during a heart evaluation apt, even challenging me on my willingness to discuss it with him because it "fascinated" him. I already had anxiety issues around bad experiences with doctors but this tops it all. I stormed out of the appointment in tears and I REFUSE TO GO BACK TO HIM
