CVCA Cardiac Care for Pets

This is my second experience with Dr. Rapoport with CVCA Milwaukie and his patience, thoroughness, understanding, and intelligence are trustworthy and comforting. Visiting a cardiologist is scary from the start but Dr. Rapoport and his assistant Abigail make it less stressful for both owner and pet. They have followed through immediately with additional questions and concerns. I am confident in the diagnoses and care received from them.

Wonderful place. Got my cat in very quickly for imaging and took amazing care of him. Doctor Rapoport gave us the results directly after the echocardiogram, and answered all of our questions thoroughly. He was professional, empathetic, and very knowledgeable. I am so happy Keiko has this group following him for his cardiac care for as long as he is here with us. Thank you to all the staff!

Dr Rapoport has treated Joey's heart condition for over a year. The treatment prescribed has shown improvement on Joeys follow up scans. Dr Rapoport and his associates are patient and professional. We highly recommend him to anyone in need of a veterinarian cardiologist.

The nicest, most thorough pet care I've encountered and totally skilled at what they do. They treat my baby so gently and kindly while also making sure he has the proper diagnosis and care. I can't recommend them enough! I just wish I could take my doggies to them for everything.

My dog is a young senior and had a new murmur with otherwise excellent health. The doctors and staff explained that she should have a full life undeterred by her heart as long as I change her diet to include grains and not include many legumes (beans, peas, and lentils) as it's suspected they may interfere with the absorption of taurine. Studies have not proven this connection yet, so we cannot be certain, but apparently many other dogs they have seen have had their health improve once switching diets. The office is clean and calm and the doctor was happy to thoroughly answer my questions. Thank you!
